The Protocol

ENERGISE AND RECOVER LIKE A PRO.

Thermal Boost is two hours built around two things done properly: cold water and controlled breathing. We start on the mat with a guided breathwork protocol that prepares your nervous system, then take you into the ice — coached, timed, and never rushed. Nobody is pushed past what they can handle, and nobody sits in silence wondering what to do. It's the session most people arrive at nervous about and leave already asking about next Sunday. Come tired from the week, leave clear-headed and reset.

Built For
Anyone recovering from a hard training week, and anyone who wants a genuine mental reset. No cold-exposure experience needed — first-timers are coached through every step. Subject to health screening.

What To Expect

Inside The Session.

01

PHASE 01 · BRIEF & SCREEN

Arrival, waiver check and a short brief. Coaches confirm anything you've flagged on your health form and explain exactly what the next two hours look like.

02

PHASE 02 · BREATHWORK

A guided breathing protocol on the mat. This is what makes the cold manageable — you learn to control the response before you ever touch the water.

03

PHASE 03 · THE ICE

Coached entries into the ice bath, timed and supervised. You choose your exposure, a coach stays with you throughout, and you come out when you're ready.

04

PHASE 04 · REWARM & INTEGRATE

Movement-based rewarming, warm layers, and a few quiet minutes to let the session land before you step back into your Sunday.

The Edge

Why People Stay.

01Breathwork first, ice second — the reason first-timers cope
02A coach stays with you at the bath, every single entry
03You set your own exposure. No dares, no counting anyone down
04A proper rewarm protocol, not a towel and a goodbye

FAQ.

01 I'VE NEVER DONE AN ICE BATH. IS THIS FOR ME?
Yes, provided you're medically cleared. Most of the room on any given Sunday are first-timers. The breathwork block comes first specifically so the cold feels manageable rather than shocking.
02 HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO STAY IN?
As long as you choose. Coaches give you a target and stay beside the bath, but you control your own exposure and you can step out whenever you want.
03 WHO SHOULDN'T DO THIS SESSION?
Anyone with a heart condition, blood pressure issues, diabetes, epilepsy, a respiratory condition, or who is pregnant should get medical clearance before booking. See our Safety & Eligibility section above.
04 WHAT ARE THE ACTUAL BENEFITS?
Cold exposure and breathwork are widely used to support recovery, circulation and mental clarity, and most people report feeling energised and clear-headed afterwards. Research is still developing, so we'd rather you try it and judge for yourself than promise you a specific medical outcome.
